World and character information
The years after the war were hard, but busy. Busy enough to keep hand busy and bodies tired enough to sleep most nights. Reconstruction of 12 started almost immediately, and although Katniss and Peeta were never officially part of it, there were always things to do if you need to keep your mind busy. Which both of them needed too.
Comfort with each other was a long and slow process. On a good day it was small smiles, stilted hand waves. Bad days varied. Some days, weeks, she couldn’t leave her house. Some days she wanted nothing but him to hold her, but things were too rocky to approach.

DANDE
Physical, Dande (short for Dandelion) has short, dark hair, with blue eyes. She is on the short side, and on the chubby side, because really after that would you ever do anything to discourage your kids from enjoying food? Really? Dande is a homebody, deeply attached to her close loved ones, but not super social outside of that. She is very proud of her parents, but also has some serious insecurities. She sees her parent as pretty much perfect, and ends up comparing herself a lot to them (especially her mother) unfavorably. She gets lost in the woods, she can't really talk well to large groups and often says things that make sense in her head but when they come out don't really make much sense to anyone else. She's not graceful or very physically comfortable with herself, and feels like even genetically, she got the awkward features.
The one trait she does compare favorably with her mother is that she's very good at music. Not just singing, she can also play and compose it, and it is her pride and joy. Where as singing is a loaded subject for Katniss, for Dande it is the thing that brings her the most joy, and when she preforming is one of the few times she feels completely comfortable in her skin.
Like her father she is also kind hearted. Although it takes her time to warm up to people, once she does she is VERY attached, sometimes to the point of clinginess. District 12 still is not the most family oriented District, even now, and Dande feels separate from the children that are there, some by age, some because her family is just a touch on the well known side. There is a subtle sense of isolation to the way they are raised, their parents (reasonably) sorta done with Panem and just wanting a small, quiet life. Family friends are from far away, and come rarely.

Rhy is almost the opposite of his sister. He knows he is attractive, well spoken, and doesn't get lost if he walks 5 feet into the woods. Tall, with grey eyes and blond curls, he's well built. Where as Dande is a homebody, he has more of a political bent, and is a very social person, although on a superficial level. Deeper down, he is similar to his sister in the fact that he is only comfortable with his close connections.
Rhy, how ever is aimless. Where his sister has a passion for music, he just has a sense a sense of not being settled. Even his political leanings are just vague. Make a difference, some how.
